Now Buy long distance train tickets from any station

Western Railway has extended the facility of issuing of non suburban i.e. current tickets for long distance trains at all suburban stations between Churchgate and Dahanu Road with immediate effect. For journey more than 200 kms, passengers can also buy current ticket three days in advance. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers and demands from several quarters, necessary modifications have been made in the ticket issuing system and now current tickets from any station to any station for long distance trains can be purchased from all suburban stations. This will help in reducing the queue at major stations such as Mumbai Central, Dadar, Bandra Terminus, Borivali etc. and will also give the convenience of purchasing long distance current tickets in advance at the nearest station.

The advance tickets purchased can be cancelled prior to the day of journey at the ticket issuing station or journey originating station while on the day of journey, tickets can be cancelled only at journey originating station.
