Western Railway to run Special Train for Velankanni Festival from Bandra Terminus

          For the convenience of passengers o­n the occasion of Velankanni Festival, Western Railway will run 2 trips of fully reserved Special train, for which the fares chargeable will be inclusive of special charges.

          Train No. 09001 Bandra (T) – Velankanni Special train will leave Bandra Terminus o­n 27th August, 2016 (Saturday) at 22.50 hrs and will reach Velankanni o­n 29th August, 2016 (Monday) at 12.30 hrs.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09002 Velankanni – Bandra (T) Special train will leave Velankanni at 21.45 hrs o­n 29th August, 2016 (Monday) and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 10.40 hrs o­n 31st August, 2016 (Wednesday).

          This train will halt at Borivali, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla, Cudapah, Razampeta, Koduru, Renigunta, Tiruttani, Arakkonam, Kanchipuram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tirupadaripulliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur Jn. and Nagapattinam stations in the o­nward journey. However, o­n its return journey, the train will halt at all the above mentioned stations except Daund station.

          The train will comprise of AC II - tier, AC III - tier, Sleeper class and II Seating Reserved Coaches.

          The booking for Train No. 09001 will open o­n 8th August, 2016 at all PRS counters and IRCTC website.
