FIVE HOUR BLOCK AT PRABHADEVI AND BETWEEN CHURCHGATE - MUMBAI CENTRAL LOCAL

STATIONS o­n 14th APRIL, 2019

A major block will be taken for launching of girders in the night hours from 00.30 hrs to 05.30 hrs o­n Sunday, 14th April 2019 at Prabhadevi station. During the block, all Down slow line trains will be worked o­n Down fast line between Mumbai Central & Mahim. Hence, these trains will not halt at Mahalaxmi, Prabhadevi and Matunga Rd stations for want of platform & will have a double halt at Lower Parel and Mahim stations due to inadequate platform length.

Jumbo block will also be taken o­n Up &Dn fast lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs o­n Sunday, 14th April, 2019, to carry out maintenance work of tracks, signaling & overhead equipment. During this period, all fast line trains will be operated o­n slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central. Due to this, some Up & Dn suburban trains will be cancelled.

Detailed information to this effect is available with concerned Station Masters. Passengers are requested to take note of the above arrangements.
