To carry out maintenance work of track, signalling & overhead equipments, a jumbo block will be taken between Mahim Jn. and Marine Lines Junction stations from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 2nd December, 2012 on Up Local lines (i.e. slow corridor).
During the block, all Up slow trains will run on Up through lines (i.e. fast corridor) between Mahim Jn. and Marine Lines stations. These diverted trains will not halt at Matunga Road, Elphinstone Road, Lower Parel and Mahalaxmi for want of platform, hence passengers can travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Mumbai Central and Bandra stations. All 12 car slow services will take double halt at Mahim Jn. Due to the block, some up and down suburban trains will remain cancelled.
