MUTP Surcharge to Increase on
Suburban Tickets/Season Tickets from 1/1/2013
MUTP Surcharge which is levied on ordinary journey tickets and season tickets issued for journeys within the notified suburban sections of Mumbai will be increased w.e.f 1st January 2013.
Existing and increased MUTP surcharge for different classes of travel and distances of journey is as follows :-

The increased MUTP surcharge will be leviable w.e.f 1st January 2013. The increased surcharge will not be leviable on ordinary single journey tickets & season tickets issued prior to 1.1.2013.
