To carry out maintenance work, a jumbo block will be taken for five hours from 10.35 hrs to 15.35 hrs on Sunday, 13/01/2013 on Dn local line Local Lines (i.e. slow line) between Mahalaxmi and Santacruzstation.
During the block period, all Dn local (slow) line trainswill run on Dn through line (i.e. fast corridor) between Mumbai Central and Santacruzstations. These diverted trains will not halt atMahalaxmi, Elphinstone Road and Matunga Rd, stationsfor want of platform, hence , passengers are allowed to travel in opposite direction for their destinations between Bandraand Mumbai Central stations. All 12-car slow services will take double halt at Lower Parel, Mahim and Khar Road .
Level crossing No. 19 between Khar and Bandra will remain closed for road traffic during the block period.
Due to the block, some Up and Down local trains will remain cancelled.
