To facilitate the passengers , Western Railway has extended several holidayspecial trains . The details of the trains being run are –
·Mumbai Central- New Delhi –MumbaiCentral (Bi- Weekly) Rajdhani Type Super Fast Special Train
Train No. 09003 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Bi-Weekly Superfast Summer Special will depart from Mumbai Central on every Monday & Friday at 19.45 hrs to reach New Delhi at 17.10 hrs next day has been further extendedfrom 1st July, 11to 29th July , 2011.
In return direction, 09004 New Delhi– Mumbai Central Bi-Weekly Superfast Summer Special will depart from New Delhi on every Tuesday & Saturday at 23.35 hrs and arrive at Mumbai Central at 20.55 hrs next dayhas ben further extended from 2nd July , 11to 30 th July, 2011.
Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura Jn. in both directions.
The train will have First AC, AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier coaches and
·Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi WeeklySuperfast Special Train
Train No.09021 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Weekly Superfast Special train will depart at 16.55 hrs on every Monday from Bandra Terminus and reach Jammu Tawi at 01.40 hrs on Wednesday has ben further extended from 2nd July, 11 to 25thJuly , 2011.
Similarly Train No. 09022 Jammu Tawi – Bandra Terminus Weekly Superfast Special will leave from Jammu Tawi on every Wednesday at 09.30 hrs. arriving Bandra Terminus at 17.50 hrs. next day has been further extended from 6th July, 11 to 27th July, 2011.
The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur, Mathura Jn., Delhi Safderjung, Ambala Cantt, Ludhiana and Chakki Bank stations in both the directions.
The train will have I AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, sleeper class and II class General coaches.
·Ahmedabad –Yeshwantpur (Weekly) spl Train
Train No. 09405 Ahmedabad – Yeshwantpur (Weekly) Special train which departesfrom Ahmedabad at 19.30 hrs on every Saturday and reach Yeshwantpur at 4.00 hrs. on Monday has been further extended from 2ndJuly to 30th July, 2011.
Similarly, Train No. 09406 Yeshwantpur - Ahmedabad (Weekly) Special train which departs from Yeshwantpur at 6.20 hrs on every Monday and arrive Ahmedabad at 15.10 hrs. the next day has been further extended from 7th March 4th July, 2011 to 1st August, 2011.
The train will halt at Nadiad, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vasai Road, Bhivandi, Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam, Adoni, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Sri Satya Sai Prasanthi Nilayam, Hindupur and Yelahanka stations in both directions.
The train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, sleeper class and General II class coaches.
·Porbandar - Secunderabad Weekly Specials (24 services)-via Vasai Rd
Train No. 09221 Porbandar - Secunderabad (Weekly) Special train which departs from Porbandar at 23.50 hrs on every Monday has been further extended from 4th July , 2011 to 25th July , 2011 and reach Secunderabadat 10.30 hrs. the next day.
Similarly, Train No. 09222 Secunderabad - Porbandar (Weekly) Special train which departsfrom Secunderabad at 14.50 hrs on every Wednesday has been further extended from 6th July, 2011 to 27thJuly , 2011and arrive Porbandar at 01.30 hrs. the next day.
The train will halt at Wansjaliya, Bhanwad, Lalpur (Jam), Jamnagar, Hapa, Rajkot, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Ahmedabad, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Tandur and Begumpet stations in both directions.
The train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, sleeper class and General II class coaches.
·Ahmedabad- Patna (Weekly) special Train
Train No. 09409 Ahmedabad-Patna Weekly Special train will depart at 23.25 hrs from Ahmedabad on every Wednesday and arrive Patna at 10.05 hrs on the third day has been further extended from 6th July, 2011 to 27th July, 2011.
Similarly, Train No. 09410 Patna-Ahmedabad Weekly Special train will depart at 16.30 hrs from Patna on every Friday and arrive Ahmedabad at 23.05 hrs. on the third day has been further extended from8th July, 2011 to 29th July, 2011.
This train will halt at Nadiad, Godhra, Ratlam, Nagda, Ujjain, Bhopal, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Chheoki, Mirzapur, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara and Danapur stations in both directions.
The train will have I AC, II AC, III AC, sleeper class and General II class coaches.
The booking for train No.09003 will be opened from 1st July, 2011 and booking for Train No. 09405, 09021, 09409and 09221 will open from 2nd July, 2011.
