Western Railway has introduced four digit new easy Security Helpline number 1276 for the convenience of commuters. Commuters can call on this number for any security related issues. The number has been shortened from existing 8 digit number for easy memorizing and dialing.
The new Security Helpline number can be accessed from all networks both Landline and Mobile except BSNL landline. BSNL landline users can call on 23004000 instead. 1276 helpline number is only for security related issues. For general feedback/suggestion such as passenger amenities, commuters can send a SMS for on 9004477777.
