WESTERN RAILWAY ORGANISES

“RUN AGAINST CORRUPTION” UNDER

VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK 29THOCT. – 3RD NOV. 2018

 

Western Railway will observe the week beginning from 29thOctober to 3rd November, 2018 as Vigilance Awareness Week.The theme of this yearto be observed is “Eradicate Corruption – Build a New India”.A pledge will be administered by Western Railway General Manager, Shri A.K. Gupta at 11.00 hrs o­n 29th October, 2018 in the lawn at GLO Building, Churchgate at Western Railway Headquarters. This pledge will be taken by all public servants. After the pledge, Shri Gupta will inaugurate an exhibition, followed by a seminar.

On the second day of Vigilance Awareness Week, Western Railway’s Vigilance Department is organising “Run Against Corruption” o­n Tuesday,30th October, 2018 at 6: 30 am. The run will start from Air India Building o­n Marine Drive and finish at Marine Lines flyover.

During Vigilance Awareness Week various other activities are also being conducted at headquarters office as well as in all six divisions of Western Railway. For focused implementation various activities such as essay writing, slogan writing,display of banners, etc. will be organised/conducted throughout the week.
