WR TO TAKE TRAFFIC BLOCK BETWEEN CHARNI ROAD AND GRANT ROAD IN THE NIGHT OF 23RD JULY, 2011

 

A new BMC east-west Foot Over Bridge has to be provided in the north of Charni Road station. For this purpose, the old structure has to be dismantled. To carry out this work, a block will be undertaken on all four lines between Charni Road and Grant Road stations in the night of 23/24.07.2011 (i.e. night falling between Saturday & Sunday only) from 01.10 hrs to 05.10 hrs. During this period, some up local trains will be short terminated and reversed back as down trains from Mumbai Central station instead of Churchgate during the non-rush hours between 1.10 hrs to 5.10 hrs on Sunday, 24th July, 2011. The last local (Borivali local) from Churchgate will depart as per its schedule from Churchgate.

 

Due to this block, the effect on running of local train in the night of 23/24.7.11 will be as under :
