W. RLY RPF’s INVESTITURE PARADE CEREMONY CELEBRATED WITH GREAT FERVOUR & ENTHUSIASM

The Investiture Parade Ceremony of Western Railway’s Railway Protection Force was held on 2nd November, 2019 at W. Rly Headquarter Building, Churchgate, Mumbai. Shri A. K. Gupta – General Manager of Western Railway was the chief guest of this function.
According to a press release issued by Shri Ravinder Bhakar, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Shri Gupta inspected the parade and received the Guard of Honour.Shri A. K. Singh - IG cum Principal Chief Security Commissioner delivered the welcome address at the function. Shri Gupta felicitated 16 RPF personnel in recognition to their outstanding & meritorious work. This was followed by Dog Show by the RPF Dog Squad as well as cultural programmes performed by W. Rly’s various RPF posts. on this occasion, Shri Gupta also inaugurated the security exhibition set up at the entrance lobby of W.Rly HQ office at Churchgate, wherein, the various arms & ammunitions used by the RPF forces were displayed for viewing.
