In the series of Western Railway’s many amenities for the commuters, Western Railway has now installed a baby feeding centre at Palghar station in Mumbai Division.

According to a press release issued by Shri Ravinder Bhakar – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the Baby Feeding Centre at Palghar is with the approach to create awareness about breastfeeding and also to facilitate new mothers to feed their new borns. The centre has been installed with combined efforts by Child Help Foundation and is free to use by lactating mothers. Western Railway has planned to install similar Baby Feeding Centres at 14 stations.
