‘SADBHAVANA DIVAS' OBSERVED OVER WESTERN RAILWAY
‘Sadbhavana Divas’ was observed over Western Railway on 21st August 2020. The ‘Sadbhavana Pledge’ was administered by Shri Alok Kansal- General Manager of Western Railway through video link. on this occasion, Shri Kansal highlighted the purpose behind the pledge and how disputes and difference of opinions if any, arising in our day to day working, can be resolved through discussion and constitutional means. He emphasized upon the need to work as a team with the common goal for the progress of Indian Railways. He also urged all the officers to put into practice the Sadbhavana pledge of resolving differences and encouraging the staff working under them to do the same. General Manager said that "Ahimsa Paramodharma" has been a divine Mantra ofIndian culture since ancient times & we all should always adopt it in our behaviour. It's worth mentioning that due to directives of social distancing as a prevention to corona pandemic, the "Sadbhavana Divas" event was held this time through video link, in which various Principal Heads of Departments, Divisional Rly Managers alongwith senior officers participated & took pledge accordingly. "Sadbhavana Pledge" was also administered in all the Divisions and Units of Western Railway by the respective Divisional Railway Managers.
