SIX HOURS GIRDER LAUNCHING BLOCK BETWEEN CHARNI RD AND GRANT ROAD

Western Railway has planned aTraffic & Power block between Charni Road and Grant Road station o­n 24th/ 25thAugust, 2020.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Rly, girder launching of 8 girders for Ferrere Road Over Bridge between Charni Road and Grant Road is to be carried out. A six hours block from 23.40 hrs of 24thAugust to 05.40 hrs of 25th August, 2020 is being carried out o­n all lines. During the block, there will be repercussions o­n some of the suburban services. o­n Down slow line, the last local will be VR 289 ex Churchgate at 23.30 hrs. o­n Up slow line, the last local will be for Churchgate BO 274 ex Borivali at 22.30 hrs. o­n Down fast line the last local will leave Churchgate at 23.15 hrs and o­n Up fast line, the last local VR 280 will leave at 22.15 hrs for Churchgate. Some trains will be partially cancelled i.e 6 Up services and 3 Down services. The following Up services will be partially cancelled between Vasai Rd and Churchgate :-BO 278, VR 282, VR 284, VR 286, VR 288 & VR 290. In the Dn direction, the trains that will be partially cancelled between Churchgate and Vasai Road are VR 1, VR 5 & VR 9. Inconvenience caused to passengers is deeply regretted by Western Rly.
