WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN 106 TRIPS OF 6 MORE FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS TO VARIOUS DESTINATIONS DURING DUSSEHRA & DIWALI

To clear the rush during forthcoming Dussehra & Diwali festivals, and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway has planned 106 services of 6 more pairs of festival special trains.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the 6 pairs of festival special trains will be running to various destinations for the benefit of passengers. Out of these 6 pairs of special trains, four pairs of trains will run from Western Railway viz Bandra Terminus- Jabalpur, Rajkot -Secunderabad, Ahmedabad- Yasvantpur and Gandhidham- KSR Bengaluru. Two pairs of trains will pass over WR i.e Jodhpur- KSR Bengaluruand Ajmer-Mysore. Details ofthese special trains are as under :-

1) Train No 07017/07018 Rajkot - Secunderabad Festival Special (Tri-Weekly) {34 trips}

Train No 07017 Rajkot - Secunderabad special will depart Rajkot every Monday, Wednesday & Thursday at 05.25 hrs & will reach Secunderabad at 10.30 hrs the next day. This train will run from 22^ndOct to 30^th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 07018 Secunderabad - Rajkot special will leave Secunderabad every Monday, Tuesday & Saturday at 15.15 hrs & will reach Rajkot at 19.00 hrs the next day. This train will run from 20^th Oct to 28^th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Wankaner Jn, Surendranagar, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi Rd, Kalyan Jn, Lonavala, Pune Jn, Daund Jn, Sholapur Jn, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Chittapur, Seram, Tandur and Begumpet stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seatingcoaches.

2) Train No 02133/02134 Bandra Terminus – Jabalpur (Weekly) {12 trips}

 Train No. 02133 Bandra (T) - Jabalpur Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 00.15 hrs every Saturday and will reach Jabalpur at 21.40 hrs. the same day. This train will run from 24^th Octto 28^th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No. 02134 Jabalpur - Bandra (T) Special train will depart from Jabalpur at 14.30 hrs every Thursday and will arrive Bandra (T) at 12.45 hrs the next day. This train will run from 22^nd Octto 26^th Nov, 2020.  Enroute, this  train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat,Vadodara, Ratlam, Ujjain, Bairagarh, Bhopal Jn, Hosangabad, Itarsi Jn, Pipariya and Narsinghpur stations in both directions. The train comprises of AC 2-Tier, AC 3-Tier and Sleeper Classcoaches. 

3) Train No 06501/06502 Ahmedabad - Yasvantpur Festival Special (Weekly){12 trips}

Train No 06501 Ahmedabad - Yasvantpur special will depart Ahmedabad every Tuesday at 18.40 hrs & will reach Yasvantpur at 04.45 hrs o­n Thursday. This train will run from 27^th Oct to 1^stDec, 2020. Similarly, Train No 06502 Yasvantpur - Ahmedabad special will leave Yasvantpur every Sunday at 13.30 hrs & will reach Ahmedabad at 02.20 hrs o­n Tuesday. This train will run from 25^th Oct to 29^th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon Jn, Manmad Jn, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmadnagar, Daund Jn, Solapur Jn, Kalaburagi, Wadi, Raichur, Manthralayam Rd, Adoni, Guntakal Jn, Gooty Jn, Anantapur, Dharmavaram Jn and Hindupur stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class, Second class seating coaches.

4) Train No 06505/06506 Gandhidham – Ksr Bengaluru Festival Special (Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 06505 Gandhidham – Ksr Bengaluru special will depart Gandhidham every Tuesday at 09.15 hrs & will reach Ksr Bengaluru at 03.00 hrs o­n Thursday. This train will run from 27^th Oct to 1^stDec, 2020. Similarly, Train No 06506 Ksr Bengaluru - Gandhidham special will leave Ksr Bengaluru every Saturday at 21.50 hrs & will reach Gandhidham at 12.30 hrs o­n Monday. This train will run from 24^th Oct to 28^thNov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Samakhiali Jn, Dhrangandhra, Viramgam Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Vadodara Jn, Ankleshwar Jn, Surat, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Rd, Kalyan Jn, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune Jn, Satara, Karad, Kirloskarvadi, Sangli, Miraj Jn, Belagavi, Londa Jn, Dharwad, Hubballi Jn, Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur Jn, Arsikere Jn,Tiptur, Tumkur and Yasvantpur stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

5) Train No 06507/06508 Jodhpur – Ksr Bengaluru Festival Special (Bi-Weekly) {12 trips}

Train No 06507 Jodhpur – Ksr Bengaluru special will depart Jodhpur every Thursday & Saturdayat 05.15 hrs & will reach Ksr Bengaluru at 03.00 hrs o­n Saturday & Monday resp. This train will run from 24^th Oct to 3^rd Dec, 2020. Similarly, Train No 06508 Ksr Bengaluru - Jodhpur special will leave Ksr Bengaluru every Monday & Wednesday at 21.50 hrs & will reach Jodhpur at 16.50 hrs o­n Wednesday & Friday resp. This train will run from 21^stOct to 30^th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Bhagat Ki Kothi, Luni Jn, Pali Marwar, Marwar Jn, Falna, Jawai Bandh, Abu Road, Palanpur Jn, Siddhapur,Mahesana Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn, Surat, Navsari, Valsad, Vapi, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Rd, Kalyan Jn, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune Jn, Satara, Karad, Sangli, Miraj Jn, Ghatprabha, Belagavi, Londa Jn, Dharwad, Hubballi Jn, Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur Jn, Arsikere Jn,Tiptur, Tumkur and Yasvantpur stations in both directions. 6) Train No 06209/06210 Ajmer - Mysore Festival Special (Bi-Weekly) {24 trips}

Train No 06209 Ajmer - Mysore special will depart Ajmer every Friday & Sunday at 05.30 hrs & will reach Mysore at 06.00 hrs o­n Sunday & Tuesday resp. This train will run from 23^rd Oct to 29^thNov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 06210 Mysore - Ajmer special will leave Mysore every Tuesday & Thursday at 18.35 hrs & will reach Ajmer at 17.30 hrs o­n Thursday & Saturday resp. This train will run from 20^th Oct to 26^thNov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Beawar, Sojat Road, Marwar Jn, Falna, Pindwara, Abu Road, Palanpur Jn, Mahesana Jn, Ahmedabad, Nadiad Jn, Anand Jn, Vadodara Jn, Bharuch Jn, Surat, Valsad, Vapi, Palghar, Vasai Road, Bhivandi Rd, Kalyan Jn, Karjat, Lonavala, Pune Jn, Satara, Karad, Kirloskarvadi, Sangli, Miraj Jn, Belagavi, Londa Jn, Dharwad, Hubballi Jn, Haveri, Ranibennur, Harihar, Davangere, Birur Jn, Arsikere Jn,Tiptur, Tumkur, Yasvantpur Jn, Ksr Bengaluru, Ramanagaram and Mandya stations in both directions. This train comprises of 1^stAC, AC 2Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.

The booking of Train No 07017 will open from 20^thOctober, 2020. Booking for Train No 02133 will open from 22^ndOctober, 2020. Booking for Train No 06501 & 06505 will open from 24^thOctober, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and o­n IRCTC website. All the abovetrains will run as fully reserved trains.

It may also be noted that there has been a change in timings of the following trains:-

●Train No 09447 Ahmedabad- Patna Superfast Weekly special departing Ahmedabad at 19.45 hrs willdepart at 19.30 hrs. This train will reach Chhayapuri at 21.17 hrs instead of 21.06 hrs w.e.f 28.10.2020.

●Train No 09451 Gandhidham-Bhagalpur Festival special will arrive Ahmedabad at 23.05 hrs instead of 23.15 hrs and Train No 09452 Bhagalpur- Ghandidham will reach Ahmedabad at 02.20 hrs instead of 02.30 hrs as notified earlier.This change will be w.e.f 23.10.2020.

●Train No 09465 Ahmedabad-Dharbanga Clone special will reach Chhayapuri at 22.14 hrs instead of 22.01 hrs w.e.f 23.10.2020.
