WESTERN RAILWAY TO RUN onE MORE SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN
JAMNAGAR & TIRUNELVELI
2 Festival special trains to pass over WR between Bikaner-Madurai & Pune-Nizamuddin
For the convenience of passengers, Western Railway has planned to run a special train between Jamnagar and Tirunelveli for the forthcoming Dussehra & Diwali festivals. 2 more festival spl trains will also pass over WR between Bikaner- Madurai and Pune-Nizamuddin.
According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, Jamnagar-Tirunelveli Special train will run twice a week w.e.f 6th November, 2020 till further notice. 2 festival special trains will run between Bikaner& Madurai and Pune & Nizamuddin, & will be passing over WR. Details of these special trains are as below :-
1). Train No 09578/09577 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli Special (Bi-Weekly)
Train No 09578 Jamnagar - Tirunelveli special will depart Jamnagar every Friday & Saturday at 21.00 hrs & will reach Tirunelveli at 22.10 hrs on Sunday & Monday. This train will run from 6th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 09577 Tirunelveli – Jamnagar special will leave Tirunelveli every Monday & Tuesday at 07.45 hrs & will arrive Jamnagar at 05.15 hrs on Wednesday & Thursday. This train will run from 9th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Rajkot, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Ankleshwar, Surat, Vapi, Boisar, Vasai Rd, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon, Karwar, Udupi, Mangalore, Kasaragod, Kannur, Kozhikkode, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam, Alleppey, Kayankulam Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Parassala, Nagarcoil Town and Valliyur stations in both directions. This train comprises of AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and Second class seating coaches.
2). Train No 06054/06053 Bikaner – Madurai Superfast Festival Special (Weekly){12 trips}
Train No 06054 Bikaner - Madurai special will depart Bikaner every Sunday at 15.00 hrs, & will reach Madurai at 18.40 hrs on Tuesday. This train will run from 25th Oct to 29th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 06053 Madurai-Bikaner special will leave Madurai every Thursday at 11.55 hrs & will reach Bikaner at 17.45 hrs on Saturday. This train will run from 22nd Oct to 26th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Nokha, Nagaur, Degana Jn, Makrana Jn, Phulera Jn, Jaipur, Durgapura, Bansthali Niwai, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Shamgarh, Nagda Jn, Ujjain Jn, Shujalpur, Sehore, S.Hirdaramnagar, Bhopal Jn, Itarsi Jn, Nagpur, Chandrapur Maharashtra, Ballarshah, Sirpur Kaghaznagar, Ramagundam Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada Jn, ongole, Nellore, Gudur Jn, Sullurupeta, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu Jn, Villupuram Jn, Vriddhachalam Jn, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Tiruchchirappalli Jn, Dindigul Jn and Kodaikkanal Rd stations in both directions. This train comprises ofIst AC, AC 2Tier and AC 3 Tier coaches.
3). Train No 04417/04418 Pune - Nizamuddin AC Superfast festival Special (Weekly){14 trips}
Train No 04417 Pune - Nizamuddin special will depart Pune every Thursday at 05.15 hrs, & will reach Nizamuddin at 05.35 hrs the next day. This train will run from 22nd Oct to 26th Nov, 2020. Similarly, Train No 04418 Nizamuddin - Pune special will leave Nizamuddin every Tuesday at 21.35 hrs & will reach Pune at 21.25 hrs the next day. This train will run from 20th Oct to 24th Nov, 2020. Enroute this train will halt at Lonavala, Kalyan, Vasai Road, Vapi, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura stations in both directions. This train comprises ofAC 2Tier and AC 3 Tier coaches.
The booking of Train No 09578 will open from 25thOctober, 2020 at nominated PRS counters and on IRCTC website. All the above trains will run as fully reserved trains.
