RAILWAYS TO RUN AN ADDITIONAL SPECIAL TRAIN

BETWEEN MUMBAI AND CHHAPRA via VASAI ROAD & SURAT


For the convenience of passengers and with a view to meet the travel demand, Railways has decided to run an additional special train between Mumbai and Chhapra in Bihar via Vasai Road-Surat-Vadodara-Ratlam.

According to a press release issued by Shri Sumit Thakur – Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, the details of this  special train is as under:

 

Train No. 01213/14 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Chhapra Special

Train No. 01213 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Chhapra Special will depart from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 14.30 hrs o­n Tuesday, 20th April, 2021 and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs o­n Thursday, 22nd April, 2021. Similarly, Train No. 01214 Chhapra – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special will depart from Chhapra o­n Friday, 23rdApril, 2021 at 05.40 hrs and will reach Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 00.40 hrs o­n Sunday. Enroute this train will halt at Thane, Bhivandi Road, Vasai Road, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana Jn, Agra Fort, Tundla Jn, Kanpur Central, Aishbagh, Gonda Jn, Basti, Gorakhpur, Bhatni Jn and Siwan Jn stations. This train comprises of AC 3-Tier, Sleeper Class and Second Class Seating coaches.

It is worth mentioning that o­nly passengers having confirmed tickets will be permitted to board these special trains. Passengers are requested by Western Railway, to adhere all norms, SOPs related to COVID-19 during the boarding, travel and at destination.
