Duties of officers and staffs are being approved by the competent authority for efficient functioning of the organization and to achieve the goal as set in the working charter of the General Branch.

The subject wise concerned dealing clerk is the custodian of the files. He/ She put up the files to his immediate superior for obtaining decision of competent authority on the proposal as per the rules and powers delegated.

the norms set by it for the discharge of its functions

The guidelines/procedures, codal provisions & policy framed on various subject and amended from time to time are kept in view while processing the files.

The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions;

Guidelines/ Instruction issued from time to time on the matters dealt by General Branch are held by the concerned section.

The particulars of any arrangements that exists for consultation with, or representation by the members of the public in relation to the formulation of its policy or implementation thereof;

A statement of the boards, councils, committees and other bodies consisting of two or  more persons constituted as its part or for the purpose of its advice, and as to whether   meetings of those boards, councils, committees and other bodies are open to the public, or the minutes of such meetings are accessible for public;

The Zonal Railway Users Consultative Committee (ZRUCC) is constituted and functioning at Zonal Railway Level. Regular meeting is being organized and details of the Members of the Committee and minutes of meeting held are available on the Internet website of this Railway which is accessible to Public.
