Function & Duties :
1. Planning. Organizing and Coordination of Periodical overhauling and special repairs of Electrical Multiple Units, MEMU and Tower Wagons.
2. Providing the best services to the Railway Customers.
3.Preventing pollution with sustainable energy efficiency.
4. Reducing Energy consumption by using Renewable energy resources.
5. Mitigating hazards by taking care of health and safety of all the employees. |
| (ii) | The powers and duties of its officers and employees | Officers: Act as per schedule of Powers delegated by Railway Board and carrying out work related to POH of EMU/MEMU and Tower Wagon.
Duty List of all the Officers are identified and will revised as and when required. Copy of Duty list enclosed as Annexure - I.
Staff: All the Workshop staff have performed their duties laid down under various rules and regulations specified in manuals, Rule Books and Circulars |
| (iii) | The procedure followed in the decision making process, including channels of supervision and accountability | Procedures followed as per Mechanical code and different maintenance manuals, Specifications, Technical Circulars, Drawings etc issued by RDSO and Railway Board time to time. |

office by 3rd of every month. |
| (v) | The rules, regulations, instructions, manuals and records, held by it or under its control or used by its employees for discharging its functions | General & Subsidiary rules Policy letter, Specifications, Technical Circulars, and Joint Procedure orders issued by RDSO and Railway Board time to time. |
